• Click and hold a hexagon piece, then drag it to an open spot on the board.
• Release the mouse button (or lift your finger on touchscreens) to drop the piece into place.
• Line up four or more hexagons of the same color to clear them off the grid.
• Keep an eye on the shape of your open spaces — awkward gaps fill up fast.
• No keyboard shortcuts here, it's purely a drag-and-drop affair from start to finish.
• Tap the restart button whenever the board locks up and you need a clean slate.

There's something weirdly calming about a puzzle that asks so little of you on paper. Connect four same-colored hexagons, that's the whole pitch, and yet Puzzleguys Hex manages to sneak in a surprising amount of tension once your board starts filling up. Pieces don't just vanish when placed badly, they sit there mocking you, cutting off the exact spot you needed for your next combo. The hex grid itself changes how you think compared to square-tile puzzlers; adjacency works differently, and matches can snake around in ways a standard grid never allows. It's casual, sure, browser-based and HTML5-light so it loads fast, but don't mistake that for shallow. Runs can spiral out of control in seconds if you're not paying attention to incoming piece shapes. And when you finally do run out of room? The game ends, no mercy, though thankfully restarting takes about half a second.
